On Friday 27th September 2024, Swansea Bay Business Club will meet at the Swansea.com Stadium. Attendees at the September Lunch will enjoy a delicious two-course meal, with the opportunity to network with fellow Swansea Bay Business Club members and guests from across the Swansea Bay City Region.

Alex Shufflebottom is one of the directors of Shufflebottom Ltd. Shufflebottom manufactures steel framed buildings for industrial, agricultural and commercial markets for supply throughout the UK and further afield. Their factory and headquarters are in Crosshands, but they also have offices in Scotland and Norfolk. Shufflebottom Ltd was started by Martin and Lorna Shufflebottom in 1986, but saw Alex, along with her brother Wesley Shufflebottom and the then General Manger, Alec Davies buy the company through a management buyout in March 2008.

In addition to this, Alex is a board member of RIDBA, a trade association of frame manufactures and more recently a board member of Manufacturing Wales.

Alex gained her Degree in Psychology at Swansea University, Diploma in Management through University of Glamorgan and earlier this year gained her MBA from University of South Wales.

Earlier this year, Shufflebottom Ltd was sold to Embrace Steel.
