Join Swansea Bay Business Club for our April Lunch at Blanco's Hotel, Bar and Restaurant in Port Talbot with guest speaker Aled Rhys Jones, Chief Executive of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. This event is sponsored by Lloyds Bank.
On Friday 19th April 2024, Swansea Bay Business Club will meet at Blanco' Hotel, Bar and Restaurant. Attendees at the April Lunch will enjoy a delicious two-course meal, with the opportunity to network with fellow Swansea Bay Business Club members and guests from across the Swansea Bay City Region.
Aled Rhys Jones is the Chief Executive of the Royal Welsh Agricultural Society. He grew up on the family's hill farm in Carmarthenshire and played an active role in the Young Farmers movement. After graduating from the University of Reading with a first-class honours degree in Land Management, Aled spent the early part of his career as a Land Agent and became a qualified Chartered Surveyor and Agricultural Valuer. He is also a talented broadcaster and before joining the RWAS, he was the lead presenter of the BBC Radio Cymru farming news programme, Bwletin Amaeth, along with several other podcasts. He lives in Llandeilo with his wife, Lisa, daughter Alys and son Tomi. Along with his Lisa, they co-founded Diod – a coffee and wine shop – which opened in the summer of 2021.
